The JWU EXPO is a job fair sponsored by SEEM where students will be able to network, find jobs, and internships with multiple sports, entertainment, and event organizations throughout New England. This was a dual project with two different teams linked to the same event.
With more creative freedom and without restriction from the JWU design guidelines, both teams were able to create a more unique experience. When first meeting with the EXPO team, they requested Instagram posts, fliers, stickers, nametags, banners, posters, a map, and a presentation slide ad to display on TVs across campus. The EXPO team had also mentioned that they wanted to keep the JWU EXPO logo the same, which we did. The first thing was creating the “save the date” Instagram post, which went through a lot of changes but eventually got grounded to one design. Once the design was chosen, every other deliverable started to mimic it by including the white lines in the corners, the use of the horizontal and vertical EXPO logo, and the typography. The designs are all meant to work with the layout and hierarchy to fit the sizing of the template, no matter what size.
