Kojiki is a traditional Japanese bar, natively known as an Izakaya, created for the Casual Cuisine team.
When doing research, it’s found that Izakayas have a theme of red, black, and white along with a mascot of an animal. Per the request of the Culinary Team, a chicken was used along with the traditional colors, playing around with the designs and layout of the logo. Instead of using a sharper and brush pen-like font, there was a decision to try a different cleaner, and bolder font. Following the chosen logo were the menus which went through many changes due to the necessity of adding food warnings and finding a place that would fit best on the menu to look visually appealing and readable. These menus were digital, which meant that a QR code had to be used in order to read them, so QR fliers were designed and created for each table. Extras like stickers, banners, and fliers were also rolled out with the confirmed menu design to create consistency.
