Rocky Point used to be home to one of the most popular amusement parks in Rhode Island, but as time passed, Rocky Point now remains a park. Instead of letting that history go to waste, I decided to make a kiosk to keep the memory alive.
The kiosk offers a variety of things that can help with the current events that happen at Rocky Point State Park. These essentials include a bathroom, an interactive map, a touchscreen, a water bubbler, trash/recycling, and a digital screen that tells the time and temperature. The logo has been completely redone and is more modernized, but still keeps the iconic lobster with a top hat. The lobster is also outlined by the famous arch that still resides at Rocky Point Park, to show symbolism. Shades of red and blue help bring the feeling of the park to light, and the typography is a rounded sans serif. The entire goal of the kiosk is to bring more tourists and teach even residents of Rhode Island what Rocky Point was.
