The T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island needed a major design change as it is the only airport in Rhode Island. There needed to be a better tourist attraction that would help guide newcomers about the history of our beautiful state.
Each section of the state is divided by color and its unique logo signifying that state by what it’s known for, for example, Providence is known for being the capital of Rhode Island, and also a city. This explains why the logo for Providence is a tall building. The bold font that was decided was to help readability as these displays would likely be posted on T.F Green’s pillars and be a good distance from the reader. The outlined illustration on each display is a separate photo of the same county and all of the nicknames and descriptions have been thoroughly researched for accuracy. All photos have been taken in person and are all original. For extra touches, we created a video to play to be projected onto a white sail of the boat sitting in front of the T.F. Green entrance.
